The role

Bright is looking for people who want to pursue a career in sales, and who possess both grit and a growth mindset. In this role, ​​you will be primarily responsible for responding to inbound inquiries and reaching out to free users of our platform. You will drive revenue growth by managing and optimizing lead flows and pipelines using industry best practices, our CRM system, and the latest tools in the industry. You will also be responsible to:

  • Work closely with marketing, customers success, and sales to generate pipeline
  • Responsible for quickly responding to every high-quality lead using email, phone, live chat, and social media
  • Qualify leads and document sales information in HubSpot (our CRM tool)
  • Cultivating free users into paid opportunities and customers
  • Personally close smaller deals over phone, email, and live chat
  • Collaborate with sales team members to schedule customer meetings when they are qualified as enterprise opportunities

Most of the playbook is in place so you’ll be set up for success, but you will also have an opportunity to iterate and improve on it. The compensation plan for this role is generous because it will have a major impact on our growth as we scale.

Qualifications:

  • Be ready to continuously learn and grind through anything
  • 1-3 years of experience in an inside sales, SDR or BDR role or another client-facing role
  • Ability to connect and develop strong client relationships
  • Desire to help build a world-class sales organization
  • Willingness to take ownership and execute
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational ability
  • Extra points: experience in cybersecurity (specifically application security), SaaS products, product-led growth, and developer-focused products
