Emerging security threats of AI-generated code

Part 1

Emerging security threats of AI-generated code

Tuesday, 25th of June 2024
10:30 AM PDT | 1:30 PM EDT

In the span of just under two years, we’ve gone from 0% to over 50% of code being AI-generated, with over 80% of developers stating that they are using code-gen tools here and now. However, AI-generated code is inherently more vulnerable than its counterpart, and it can be argued that not only will it always be more vulnerable, but is exponentially more vulnerable.

In this webinar, we’ll dive into and scope a variety of AI-generated code security threats as well as cover best practices, processes, and tools that can be employed by AppSecs, CISOs, and engineering leaders to safeguard their security posture.

A bit of what we’ll cover:

  • The makeup of AI-generated code
  • AI-generated code security threats
  • Best practices, processes, & tools throughout the SDLC
  • Impact of AI-generated code on overall security posture

About this series:
This webinar is the first in our series on AI security threats and vulnerabilities. Where we will walk through how AI is impacting modern applications and introducing security threats new and old into the modern enterprise attack surface.
