Petra Vukmirovic is currently the Director of Cyber Security at Jobandtalent, a technology company based in Madrid, Spain. Prior to her career in cybersecurity, she worked as a medical doctor. In 2019, she made the decision to pivot to cybersecurity and pursued a master's degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics. Petra started her career in cybersecurity as an intern at Glasswall in 2020 and quickly progressed to become a Security Engineer. Her work included research on content design and reconstruction and cyber security machine learning applications, threat modeling, cloud security, risk management, compliance, and application security program implementation. Petra is passionate about threat modeling and designed a threat-modelling-as-code framework called Jupyter-threat. She then worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Zava and Jobandtalent. In Jobandtalent she focused on hiring and starting a new team, creating and implementing new processes within the security development lifecycle, creating the grounds for cloud security posture management and a security operations center. Petra was recently promoted to Director of Cyber Security Engineering at Jobandtalent. She there leads a team of cyber security engineers in executing the company's cybersecurity strategy and vision.
